All employees of PepperTree Complete Care;contract, volunteers or recruited are to ensure that all individuals are not subjected to abuse, neglect, and

exploitation; physical, verbal, sexual, or psychological abuse; or punishment in any form of employees, applicants for employment, temporary employees,

temporary agency workers, vendors, maintenance workers, customers or clients is unacceptable conduct which will not be tolerated by PepperTree Complete

Care.

How to Report Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation

If you have knowledge of or think anyone within our company abusing, neglecting, or exploiting any individual, tell someone you trust, such as a staff person, your parent, guardian family member, or immediately call but no later than one hour

CLASS PROGRAM

Report this immediately, but no later than one (1) hour to: Consumer Rights and Services Texas Department of Health and Human Services – 1-800-252-5400

HCS PROGRAM

You MUST make all verbal report immediately but, no later than one (1) hour, to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services toll free number (TDFPS) 1-800-647-7418 after having knowledge or suspicion that an individual served by the provider has been or is being abused, neglected or exploited
